چکیده

Abstract NK cells-based cancer therapy combined with chemotherapeutic drugs for the treatment of tumors can enhance immunosensitivity cells, increase expression cell receptors, and eventually boost killing effect cells on cells. Selenium (Se) different chemical structures be metabolized into selenoproteins to regulate tumor immune cells’ fate functions. Herein, we found that, functionalized Se nanoparticles (SeNPs) combining metformin (met) could amply immunotherapeutic effects NK92 against osteosarcoma cancer. The results revealed that TW80-SeNPs met had optimum performance HepG2 owing increased ROS in augmented surface receptor proteins ULBP-3/4, PD-L1, MICA, PD-1 FasL. Additionally, were gradually (Gpx4 TR1) human MG63 reinforce anticancer by regulating redox balance microenvironment. This study provides a therapeutic approach treating itself or diabetes coupled Moreover, it multidrug strategy improve function practical applications, especially synergistic immunotherapy osteosarcoma.

Promoting NK cell trafficking to improve therapeutic effect of NK cell therapy on osteosarcoma

Background Despite the ability of NK cells to kill cancer cells, NK cell–based immunotherapy has resulted in limited clinical benefit. This is largely due to the poor capacity of adoptively transferred NK cells to home to tumors. We have shown that NK cells are able to kill osteosarcoma (OS) cells in vitro in a dose-dependent manner, indicating that recruiting more NK cells to OS lung metastasi...

Strategies to Improve Homing of Stem Cells to achieve better Efficacy in Stem Cell Therapy

Stem/progenitor cell based therapeutic approach in our daily routine clinical practice, has been elusive dream in medical sciences and improvement of stem cell homing as one of major challenges in cell therapy programs, has been considered a promising milestone. It has been proved that stem/progenitor cells exhibit a homing response to injured tissues/organs, mediated by interactions of chemoki...

Inhibitory effect of metformin combined with gemcitabine on pancreatic cancer cells in vitro and in vivo

Pancreatic cancer is a malignant digestive system tumor with a particularly poor prognosis, and is the fourth leading cause of cancer‑associated mortality in the USA. The anti‑diabetic therapeutic agent, metformin (MET) has been demonstrated to exert anti‑tumor effects. The present study assessed the ability of MET, alone or in combination with gemcitabine (GEM), to inhibit the growth of the hu...
